Good Neighbors Cambodia ensures the availability of water in communities. We integrate and monitor good water in health and other sector for sustainable development. With support and contributions from donors and partners, we installed several water filtration systems in health centers, schools, hospitals, and communities around Cambodia.

On 15th August 2024, Good Neighbors Cambodia installed and handed over water filtration systems and medical equipment to Ochum Health Center and Konmom Health Center in Ratanakiri province. The handover ceremony was host presided over by the present of Mrs. Kham Now, Deputy Governor of Ochum District; Mr. Chea Sanit, Director of the Provincial Health Department of Ratanakiri; Dr. Eng Kunvuth, chief of Disease Prevention and Management Office; Mr. Jang Dongwon, Country Director of Good Neighbors Cambodia; local authorities, medical staff, and community people.​​

The event started with the development report and welcome remark by the O Chum Health Center Chief. Continued by the speech of Mrs. Kham Now, Deputy Governor of Ochum District, expressed her gratitude to Good Neighbors Cambodia and AMORE PACIFIC and GLOBAL MISSION CHURCH for their support in Ratanakiri province. Additionally, she congratulated the health centers and Ratanakiri residents for receiving access to clean water.​

Additionally, Mr. Jang Dongwon expressed respect and warmest welcoming all participants to the renewable event and said, Regarding the WASH sector, Good Neighbors has built water stations, community water treatment systems, and water purification systems for schools and health centers. We work with health centers to promote hygiene in communities in all our target areas. Thank you to the Amore Pacific and Global Mission Church for supporting filtration systems and medical equipment in Ratanakiri province. This support significantly assists the health centers in providing good health services to the community. Congratulations from now on, the filtrations and medical equipment belong to the community. Please use it to improve your health and take good care of them for long-term use and sustainability.

The water filtration systems and medical equipment funded by AMORE PACIFIC and GLOBAL MISSION CHURCH make a specific change in Ratanakiri’s livelihood. Community people could live happily and healthily with hope through this contribution.
