On 3rd September 2024, the Senior Volunteer Group of the Mirae Foundation from Korea visited the Mirae School Building they supported and handed over to children and the community last July.

The ‘Hajun Dream School Project’ of Mirae Foundation contributed a new school building consisting of four classrooms equipped with comfortable equipment and facilities to Pongro Primary School in Banteay Meanchey province to encourage the community children to have hope and help their self-determination in education and better future.

During the visit, the Senior Volunteer Group of Mirae Foundation came to review project outcomes and achievements and spend time with children who are grateful for their support and happy with the new education environment.

Moreover, the visitors take a chance to be the guests of registered child homes and families to understand more about the children’s development process and current needs for a better life. The visiting team also stopped by to review different terms of community development in the Thmar Koul community and to become acquainted with the Hand Washing Station project that enhances children’s well-being and health during school time.

The visit was meaningful and fruitful. The Senior Volunteer Group was touched seeing the children’s happiness after receiving their support and the quality they can expect in the future. We all hope to establish more education, health, and WASH infrastructures in schools that allow children to chase their dreams.
