Staff Seminar marks as an annual calendar for Good Neighbors Cambodia (GNC) to call for a reunion among its staff members. The purpose is to recognize the ongoing commitments and efforts of staff in community development, reward them for their devotions throughout the year, and promote their awareness toward GNC’s annual strategical direction.

In 2019, the event organized at Royal Angkor Resort, Siem Reap province from 27th-28th November. There were 115 staffs of GNC from 7 community development programs (CDP) based in 5 different provinces/city of Cambodia participated. The two days’ event organized under various sections included sharing of (i) 2019 achievements, (ii) 2020 action plans under fiscally-strategical theme “Good Neighbors Movement”, and (iii) recreation activities.

The recreation activities included performance contest, lucky draw, and cycling. The cycling was done for 27 kilometers around ten different cultural temples. It aims at building team spirit & promoting a healthy lifestyle among staff, and at the same time contributing to environmentally friendly or tourism without smoke.

It is such a wonderful celebration in overall. I satisfy with the arrangement and can see that everyone is looking for such fun again in the following year, said Mr. Khuong Sopheak, CDP Manager based at Banteay Meanchey province.
