The handover ceremony was attended by Mr. Hyung Geun Lee, General Manager of Samsung Electronics in Cambodia, as well as Mr. Sang Ny, Director of Oukura Trakeat Primary School, Mr. Kim Yong Ho, Managing Director of Good Neighbor Cambodia, and many teachers and students also.

Oukura Trakeat primary school is located in Rolous village, Sangkat Cheung Aek, Khan Dangkor, Phnom Penh the capital city. In the school year 2021-2022, there are 1,038 (615 girls) students from more than 10 villages enrolled and studying there. Due to the shortage of school buildings and classrooms, the students are arranged to study more than 40 persons in a class, and this is much over than the education norm as recommended by the government. The school library is also not functioning because of the unavailable classroom and space; therefore, the students are not able to read and do extra learning. In the last decades, there is a rapid expansion of urban areas of Phnom Penh together with the heat weather that lead to having heavier and more polluting air, dust, and environment. As the complaints from the school principal and students, this really affects their learning health and commitment. The group of teachers and principals suggest improving the school and classroom environment in terms of installing the supporting equipment and devices. The suggestion was also including the upgrading school library and installing digital learning tools that can attract students to enjoy learning.

With the support by Good Neighbors Cambodia, a number of computer units were installed and operating at school to enable students to learn computers in both formal and non-formal curricula and classes. It is practical and extra-learning for students for it contributes to improving the future learning outcomes and commitment of students.

Be noted that Samsung Electronics also provided 291 sets of study materials to students at Russey Sanh Primary School through Good Neighbor Cambodia on October 27, 2021.
