Daegu-Taxi Cooperative & Good Neighbors Global Impact Foundation & Good Link Cooperative Partnership Agreement

Good Link Cooperative was established as a part of the Good Link Project (former name Good Taxi Project) with the support of Good Neighbors Cambodia in 2019 to increase income and improve living conditions for community people through the formation of a Good Taxi (change to Good Ling Cooperative) and increase the number of members through reinvestment. We desire to make “A Good Change” occur continuously in our communities, and we strive for the advancement of all by cooperating with partners.

On 2nd June 2023, Good Link Cooperative received supportive assistance from Daegu Taxi Cooperative to enhance the project operation, and we successfully hosted our partnership agreement event together under the name “Daegu-Taxi Cooperative & Good Neighbors Global Impact Foundation & Good Link Cooperative Partnership Ceremony”. Through this agreement, Daegu Taxi Cooperative, which is known as the No.1 transport cooperative in South Korea, donates around $6,000 to Good Link Cooperative yearly. Moreover, Daegu Taxi provides consulting and training reinforce to the partner​ in Cambodia for future operation and management.

Mr. Jan Dong Won, the country director of Good Neighbors Cambodia congratulated this agreement and thanked the Daegu Taxi Cooperative group for their strong support to Cambodian communities. On the other hand, One of the Good Link Cooperative leaders, Mr. Thai Chrouch, said, “Now Good Link Cooperative consists of 120 drivers and makes a stable income due to the support of Good Neighbors Cambodia. We appreciate the Daegu Taxi cooperative supporting us. We will try to make the cooperative stand solitary and grow exemplary with this asset”.

Good Neighbors Cambodia is implementing ‘Expansion of youth employment and income generation through a transportation cooperative (Good Link Project) funded by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).
