On 26 August 2021 Good Neighbors Cambodia and LG Electronics conducted the appointing ceremony to six representatives’ youth that successfully selected for the LG Ambassador Challenge 2021 to take lead their youth members in LG project implementations.
The main theme of the project is to promote self-reliance among Cambodian people who wish to solve a problem and create a happy society for their community
The LG Ambassador Challenge 2021 has been officially open for Cambodian people since the late of 2020 with total project proposal submitted of 35. As a result, there were six project proposals successful granted for the implementation, and which were initiated by the youths such as:
- School Infrastructure Renovation project at four primary schools at Khan Dangkor, Phnom Penh
- Good Community Well project at Koah Nheaek district, Mondulkiri province
- Good Library at Mil Primary School project at Snoul district, Kratie province
- Community WASH Improvement project at Thmar Koul district, Battambang province
- Community Waste Management project at floating area of Ek Phnom district, Battambang province
- Peer Learning for Quality Education at Ou Chrov district, Banteay Meanchey province
