Inauguration and Handover a Good Learning Center (GLC) to Khsem Secondary School at Snoul District

Good Neighbors Cambodia has officially inaugurated and handed over a Good Learning Center in Khsem Secondary School, Snoul District, Kratie Province.

Good Neighbors is an international humanitarian development organization that holds the position of General Counsel with the United Nations Economic and Social Council. By seeing the lack of computer science and library rooms for students to study and research, Good Neighbors Cambodia has decided to build a good two-room school building for Khsem Secondary School for students to study on computer skills and find out more about the many books in the library room.

The inauguration and handover ceremony of this Good Learning Center was conducted on the morning of January 27, 2022, in Khsem Secondary School in Khsem Commune, Snuol District, Kratie Province in the presence of Mrs. Koy Sambo, Deputy Governor of Snuol District. Mr. Chham Mony, Operation Manager of Good Neighbors Cambodia, stated that Good Neighbors provides people around the world with an improved quality of life in the areas of health, water and sanitation, child welfare projects, and education, which are important aspects of Good Neighbors, it has been active in Cambodia from 2002 to the present. Education has always been identified as one of the major sectors. He continued that Good neighbor respects the rights of the people to help lift them out of poverty, disasters and help people become self-reliant and live a life full of love and hope.

On that occasion, Mrs. Koy Sambo, Deputy Governor of Snuol District, highly appreciated and thanked Good Neighbors Cambodia for always caring for our local authorities and communities, especially today to help build a good school building, which is now officially inaugurated for students in Khsem Secondary School to learn and increase their knowledge. She also stated that the Government of Cambodia has always considered and paid great attention to ordering the Covid-19 vaccination to be given to all civil servants in all doses and also reached the school opening, after being closed for almost 2 years. On that occasion, the delegation presented letters of commendation to the eight village chiefs in Khsum commune, Snoul district.

It should be noted that Good Neighbors Cambodia also officially handed over and inaugurated two Good Learning Centers recently at Sok San Secondary School and Hun Sen Koh Nhek High School, in Koh Nhek district, Mondulkiri province on January 26, 2022.
