Good Neighbors Cambodia (GNC) cooperated with Industrial Technology Institute (ITI) and EC Refrigeration Co., LTD and conducted “The TVET Raising Awareness” for high school students from grade 10-12 at Barray high school, Kampong Thom Province in the morning of 23rd June 2022. The event aims to expand the accessibility and information of TVET for youth. In addition, the ITI teacher did a clear orientation for students about the three main majors Air conditioner, Electricity and Information Communication Technology and overall service of the institute. Currently, the above three majors are supported by a modernized educational environment with the support of LG Electronics, Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), and the Community Chest of Korea (CCK). What is more, Mr. THIEV Eang, the CEO of EC Refrigeration Co.,LTD shared his successful experience of studying in vocational training at ITI and how he maintain his success until he becomes a CEO.
The total participants were 700 participants (high school students and students’ parents). As the result, the event provided clear information about TVET to students and they do interest in it.
