The Water Station Brings Hope To The Community

Or Boun commune is 7km away from the Kaoh Nheaek district, Mondulkiri province. The community people here faced a critical situation in accessing safe and clean water due to the available water sources are unsafe and seasonal. Consequently, they are forced to buy water from a private supplier at a higher cost. GNC supported the installation of the water station to tackle the challenge faced by the community.

“Up to 250 households consuming the water today. I am proud that the number of sales keeps increasing rapidly. I think it is because of the quality of the water, and the price that never before sold at a lower cost.” Mr. Hoeun Heng, one of the Water Station Committee.
