The K-GMAC (Chairman Kim Junkyoung) donated a total of 30,000 face masks through Good Neighbors Cambodia (Country Director Jang Dongwon) on the 8th Sep 2021.
A ceremony was held at the Good Neighbors Cambodia office in the presence of the K-GMAC Chairman Kim Junkyoung and General affairs Kim Eunha.
“I hope that the masks delivered will be of practical help to the quarantine activities of neighbors who are marginalized due to the prolonged Covid situation.”, said Kim Junkyoung, the K-GMAC Chairman.
“I was deeply moved and grateful to the K-GMAC members and employees who helped local residents in underprivileged areas despite the very difficult situation for Korean textile companies due to the covid19.”, said Jang Dongwon, Good Neighbors Cambodia Country Director.
A total of 30,000 masks delivered on this day will be provided to children, vulnerable groups, local residents, schools, and health centers in 6 Cambodia regions.
As an NGO, Good Neighbors Cambodia has been working with the government, related organizations, stakeholders, and partners to create a poverty-free society since 2002, and has been continuing local development projects covering the fields of education, medical care, health, drinking water sanitation, and income increase.
