2021 GNC Annual Report

Good Neighbors Cambodia (GNC) is pleased to announce the news of the publication of the ‘2021 GNC Annual Report’. In 2021 GNC has registered and sponsored 12,891 children in the sponsorship program, and 13,933 children are protected from violence, abuse, discrimination, and other threats as direct and indirect beneficiaries of GNC projects.

For their sustainable and better lives, among other things, GNC also considered and supported WASH and Health sector. 56,704 people had access to the improved health center and services, and 74,405 people had access to clean and sufficient water and sanitation. In education, GNC encouraged and helped 56,214 children to access the improved quality of education.

2021 was a hard time due to COVID-19. GNC supported 11,526 people who need emergency relief and disaster recovery services and support. GNC and community people recognized the seriousness of climate change and crisis too, GNC encouraged 4,111 people to practice environmental protection to increase climate change awareness, ensure renewal resource management, and promote recycling of resources.

All these achievements cannot be attained by GNC alone. 1,646 key partners actively participating in GN Cambodia Community Development Program. Furthermore, 868 people participated and strengthened their economic capacity with the participation of income generation projects.
